How did you get started in photography? I always had an interest in photography. I took my first photography class in high school and decided that was what I wanted to study in college. I attended Brooks Institute of Photography to get my BA after high school, and while I was there figured out that I wanted to focus on shooting weddings. I could not imagine a more perfect job for me!

If you didn't do photography for a living, what would you be doing instead? That is such a hard question to answer! I would love to be a chef, or wedding cake baker, or wedding planner.

What are some of your hobbies? I love to travel (especially to places I've never been), cook, read, I love board games, going to the movies, going out to awesome restaurants and shows (Vegas is so great for this!)

What is the best wedding experience you've ever had? I think it is impossible to pick just one. I love being a part of weddings where the couple is so obviously a perfect fit, and you can feel the love. There is nothing better than photographing people in love on the happiest day of their life.

Name an exotic location you'd like to visit soon. Anywhere with a beach! I'd love to visit Fiji or Tahiti specifically.

Why do your clients choose you over some of your competitors? I hope that people come to me initially because they appreciate my work and then go on to book me because of my personality. I try to be really easy to get along with, anticipate my clients needs, and give them an awesome customer service experience.

What is the best piece of advice you can offer a bride and groom on their wedding day? Take in each and every moment because it goes by sooo fast, and be sure to hire an awesome photographer that will capture all the details and moments so you can always look back. And EAT! A lot of people get too distracted greeting guests to do this.

Anything else interesting you'd like to share? I absolutely love my job and feel so blessed to be able to do something that I love for a living. It is a privilege to be such a big part of the most special day in someones life and I'm so thankful for my clients for inviting me to share in their lives.

-- I'd also like to add that Ashley has just made a big announcement. She will be relocating back home to the east coast.  She is still accepting weddings in the Las Vegas area.  She will also be available for weddings in New York, Wilmington, Baltimore, and Washington DC metropolitan areas as well as other parts of the United States and world.  Travel fees may apply but she is well worth it!
