Giving Thanks with your Wedding Favors

They say the best wedding favors are the ones that you can eat and the ones that you can use. What about the ones that make you feel like you made a difference? With the holidays approaching, a great favor is a donation on behalf of each guest at your wedding.  Green Orchid Events has coordinated many weddings where the Bride and Groom did this and it left you with a warm feeling. You may get stationery made and have them placed at each setting explaining to guests which charity or organization you picked  and why it is important to you.

Another way to give back would be to have a toy drive or have guests donate  clothes, toiletries, canned food, etc. in place of a wedding gift. This is a extremely touching idea and something your guests will never forget. Below are some local as well as national charities and organizations that could use your help.
