Featured on Rock N Roll Bride

I've so excited to announce that our photo shoot has been featured on Rock 'n Roll Bride! Back in January when Las Vegas was rainy and gloomy, we thought it would be a great idea to put together a bridal shoot!  I was inspired by our model and my good friend Anne Claire's wedding dress. She had a teal sash on the waist of her wedding dress and that was inspiration behind the color scheme of the entire photo shoot - teal, bright yellow, and steel gray.

I'm so happy that we had such a great team.  Anne Claire and her husband Brian were such good sports in the freezing cold!

Married on Myspace Season 2

It's rare that I watch "reality shows" much less post about them on my blog but this season of Married on Myspace features a few friends of mine so I had to share! In partnership with The Knot, JcPenney and Hewlett Packard, Myspace has created a 13 episode web series that follows a couple during their wedding planning process.  Dehlia and Graeham are the lucky couple in season two and my friends Anne Claire and her husband Brian are the Maid of Honor and Best Man!

The MySpace community essentially helps to plan their big day by placing their votes on the wedding dress, rings, centerpieces, etc.  Watch this episode while Brian gives the groom advice and the ladies view the centerpiece options!

Disney's Alice in Wonderland and Bloomingdale's - In Perfect Harmony

It's just a pure coincidence that I chose a Mad Hatter/Alice in Wonderland theme for my baby shower at the end of the month.  My friends are planning the shower of course, but I chose the theme and I can still indulge by looking around online. Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland starring Johnny Depp is set to be released in theaters this Friday, March 5th.  I believe the release of the movie will spark interest in planning Alice in Wonderland themed events and we'll be ready!

Of course, the craze has also hit retailers!  Bloomingdale's has window displays in their flagship 59th Street store in New York City. They also have a line of dresses by Sue Wong for Walt Disney Signature.  Below are some retailers they have partnered up with and I may have to get my hands on some of these goodies.
